Stampin' Up! Birthday Blooms Journal

Hi Crafty people,  today I want to share my latest make,  A break from cards today.... Its my new Journal, planner, memory book, calendar etc all rolled into one.  I made using a variety of crafty items, stamps, inks, spritzers, texture paste, gilding polish, gesso etc   The cover started off as two pieces of grey board, painted with gesso, spritzed with multiple colours, textures added with texture paste and stencils, and distressed further with glitter and gilding polish.  I Stamped my image with the Birthday Blooms stamp set from stampin up and I coloured it in,  I then coated the image in glossy accents, once it was dry I gave it a second coat.  On the inside of the book,  I have used a variety of stamps,  I also utilised some of my retired papers, cardstock and other bits and bobs.  I used my cinch machine to bind the album once finished.  Hope you like, please do ask if you have questions

Team Swap Stampin' Up!

Hi and welcome.  I recently got together with my Stampin' Up! team mates and we had a card swap.  We each made a card that used a retiring stamp set and a stamp set that will be in the 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! annual catalogue.  Many of the cards were made using the new 2017-2019 in colours which are simply gorgeous.  I hope you love these creations, please ask if you wish to know more details of any particular card.

Stampin' Up! Blooms and Wishes

Hi Crafters,  today I  have a handmade calendar to share with you,  my hubby has been going on and on about how we don't have a calendar to write down dates, so I decided to make one and figured I may as well make it last for a couple of years.  I went online and googled calendar template and printed off a calendar for 2017 and 2018.  I cut out a back and front cover, I used the packaging from designer series paper,  I stamped and heat embossed multiple images from the Blooms and wishes stamp set from Stampin' Up! in various colours.  I spritzed with a mini mister to give a more distressed look.  Finally I reinforced the spine with some striped paper and I used my Zutter machine to bind it all together.   I hope you like today's project a little different to the normal cards. Please do ask if you have any questions.

Stampin' Up! 2017-2018 catalogue prep

Hi Stampers,  well I have been busy as a bee getting ready for the new Stampin' Up! catalogue, which comes out on 1st June.  As you can imagine its packed full of lovely crafting goodies. To make room for the new products I have sold a few of my retired items and I made these cards as a thank you to my buyers,

Made using the Rose Wonder Stamp Set, coloured with the watercolour pencils and blending pens from Stampin' Up!

Made with Crazy About You stamp set, which is sadly retiring from the catalogue,  its a favourite of mine though so its keeping a spot on my shelves.

Made with Hardwood background stamp and Crazy About You stamp sets from Stampin' Up!

This is a photo of the front of the new catalogue,  If you would like a copy please send you request via the contact me button

I hope you like my cards and please do ask if you have any questions

Stampin' Up! Baby Bear & You've Got This

Hi crafters,  had a few busy weeks and haven't posted, but made a couple of note size cards this week so I thought I would share with you.  One for a thinking of you and the other to accompany a gift that I was sending to a friend.  The first card was made using the You've Got This stamp set from Stampin' Up!, I stamped the background with Soft Sky ink and then Stamped the sentiment and flower with black memento ink and then coloured with  markers and a blending tool,  I finished off with a few sequins.  The second card was made with the Baby Bear stamp set from Stampin' Up! The stamp set is a multi step stamp and I used Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede to stamp the bear,  the bow was stamped with Blushing Bride on Pink Pirouette card stock.  Both cards are note card size.  Hope you like

First Birthday

Hi Crafters,  so this week it was my youngest grandchild's first birthday and I'm not so good on small children cards.  So this one was a challenge for me.  To make the card I used the stamp sets,  Love You Lots, Number of Years, thoughtful banners and  a retired Project life stamp set I had to stamp the word first.  I coloured my images using the watercolour pencils.  And the cardstock colours I used were Perfect Plum, Whisper White, Pink Pirouette and Mint Macaron.  The finished card is 8x8

Hope you like it

Inside the lines with Oh So Succulent

Hi Crafters,  with Mother's Day (UK) just around the corner,  I thought I would rustle up a card for my mum.  I was inspired by the free Sale-A-Bration designer series paper Inside the Lines.

The papers are 12x12 and they are fabulous floral colouring images.   You can get the free designer series paper and any of the other free products when spending £45 on product up until the 31st March 2017.

To make my card I cut a piece of the paper to approx 7x7cm and coloured the image in using the Stampin' Up! watercolour pencils and a blender pen.  The colours I used to colour the image are Real Red,  Old Olive, Early Espresso and Basic Black.   Once I had coloured my image I mounted it onto a piece of Real Red card stock sized at 8x8cm.

My card blank was made from Whisper White card stock cut at 14.8cm x 21cm and scored at 10.5cm on the long side.  I layered with a piece of Real Red card stock cut at 9.5cm x 13.8cm and a piece of Whisper White card stock cut at 8.5cm x 12.8cm.  I stamped the Whisper White layer with one of the small flowers from the Oh So Succulent stamp set in Real Red ink.  My sentiment was also taken from the Oh So Succulent stamp set and stamped in Real red on Whisper White card stock layered on Real Read card stock.   I assembled my card and finished off with a few Basic Rhinestones and some red seam binding ribbon from my craft stash.

Hope you love todays card,  please do leave me a comment, follow me and ask if you have any questions
